It's not a shock that Megatron wasn't much of a participant in another practice. Whether or not he plays Sunday stems little from if he practices mid-week.
Here are some other injuries we are following Wednesday:
- A dispatch from NFL Media's Steve Wyche from across the pond in London: Falcons receiver Harry Douglas, who has missed the past four games with a foot injury, won't practice today, according to Coach Mike Smith. However, Douglas will go through a rehab workout today to determine if he will practice the rest of the week and possibly play against the LionsSunday.
- Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (toe) did some high-stepping and jogging on the rehab area of Cincinnati's practice field on Wednesday but did not participate in practice, per ESPN. Leon Hall was also out with a back injury. Linebacker Vontaze Burfict (concussion) was suited up for practice and was a limited participant.
- For the Chargers, Brandon Flowers has been ruled out with a concussion, while Jason Verrett (shoulder) was a limited participant all week and is listed as questionable. Per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, there is a "very good chance" San Diego will be without Verrett against the Broncos on Thursday Night Football. The Chargerswill likely startRichard Marshall and Shareece Wright -- the same duo that started in last year's win over Denver -- according to Rapoport.
- Bill O'Brien said Jadeveon Clowney, who was limited Wednesday, is getting "better and better everyday" and will probably be a game-time decision. The coach sounded optimistic the team's No. 1 pick will play Sunday. Andre Johnson (ankle) was also limited, while Brian Cushing (knee) did not participate in practice, per the Houston Chronicle.
