The Buccaneers are thin at wide receiver heading into their Week 8 matchup against the Falcons.
A day after losing Louis Murphy for the season due to a knee injury, the Bucs could now be without Vincent Jackson for multiple weeks, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
Vincent Jackson sustained a knee injury last week and is not expected to play on Sunday, according to Rapoport, via source informed of Jackson's progress.
Jackson has 21 receptions for 319 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season.
The injury bug at wideout isn't good news for Mike Evans, who is finally hitting his stride after dealing with a hamstring injury to start the season.
Evans should expect to see a large amount of double coverage the next few weeks.
In other Buccaneers injury news, rookie tight end Austin Sefarian-Jenkins (shoulder) returned to practice Wednesday.
