Despite Amari Cooper battling a shoulder injury and Michael Crabtree fighting through a finger injury, both Raiders receivers are expected to play, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
Here are other injuries we're tracking early Sunday morning:
- As expected, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (calf) will play against the Bears, Rapoport reported. Though the Packers will have three quarterbacks active just in case Rodgers can't make it through the game.
- Ty Montgomery will get the start at running back for the Packers with James Starks (concussion) out, Rapoport reported.
- Tight end Eric Ebron (knee), defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder), linebacker DeAndre Levy (knee) and cornerback Darius Slay (hamstring) are all active for the Lions. Running back Theo Riddick (wrist), however, is inactive.
- Bucs linebacker Lavonte David (hamstring) and defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (foot) are both expected to play against the Cowboys, Rapoport reported.
"We've been pleasantly surprised," Whaley said. "Obviously he's not 100 percent, but an 80-90 percent Sammy looks pretty good to me. And I'm sure everybody would agree.
