Cullen Jenkins reportedly has six-plus suitors in line

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport already noted that former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins would meet with the New York Giants on Friday. That appears to be the start of a busy schedule for the free-agent interior lineman.

Sources told Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that Jenkins, outside of the Giants, has no less than six additional suitors lined up to take a look at the 32-year-old. Not one of those teams is the Green Bay Packers, according to Silverstein, but Green Bay does plan to visit with former Giants defensive tackle Chris Canty next Wednesday.

Both Canty and Jenkins are on the wrong side of 30, but there's gas left in the tank. Jenkins ranks as the seventh-best defensive tackle and Canty the 10th in our free-agency primer. Jenkins is drawing interest because he still was productive inside last season, racking up 4.5 sacks in six starts. Canty is a versatile lineman who can play in a 4-3 or 3-4 scheme.

Neither of these guys will be out of work for long.
