Chris Johnson working out one month after shooting

Chris Johnson is back to work just a month after being involved in a deadly drive-by shooting.

TMZ posted a video on Thursday that showed the former rushing champion running sprints. Johnson doesn't exhibit any lingering effects of the gun shot wound to his shoulder suffered during an incident in Florida on the early morning of March 8. See for yourself:

Johnson became a free agent after the Jets declined his option last month. TMZ reported, via sources, that several NFL teams have expressed interest in Johnson, who will turn 30 in September and is coming off the worst season of his career.

Will Johnson be able to get a job? It's unlikely to happen before the draft, but he could represent a low-cost addition with upside for a team with depth issues. Of course, that's what the Jets thought when they signed Johnson last year.
