Chris Johnson relieved after 40-yard dash mark stands

The legend of Chris Johnson lives on ... just barely.

Johnson -- who holds the NFL Scouting Combine record for the 40-yard dash -- got a legitimate scare in the form of Kent State running back Dri Archer, who ran his 40 in 4.26 seconds Sunday. That's two-hundredths of a second shy of the Tennessee Titans running back's time of 4.24 in 2007.

Johnson let out a big exhale on social media after Archer's time was official.

NFL Network displayed the tweet during Sunday's live combine coverage, prompting this exchange between Rich Eisen and Mike Mayock over Johnson's preferred spelling of "boi."

Good times.
