Calvin Johnson sets all-time Thanksgiving TD record

The opening game on Thanksgivingbelonged to Calvin Johnson. Chicago's bite-sized cornerbacks were no match for Megatron as he racked up 11 catches for 146 yards and twoscores, giving the Lions a much-needed win.

This is hardly the first time that Johnson has dominated on Turkey Day. He set the "Thanksgiving record" with his eighth touchdown, which wasn't his only notable statistical nugget of the day. He also reached 10,000 yards in his 115th game, the fewest in NFL history.

Still not 30 and not leaving Detroit anytime soon, he is a safe bet to reach double-digit Thanksgiving touchdowns in the coming years. For now, we'll look back at his first eight:
