Bobby Wagner expected to play versus 49ers

Seattle might have their best linebacker back when they take the field on Thursday night.

NFL Media's Omar Ruiz reported on Tuesday that Bobby Wagner expects to be in the lineup when the Seahawks play the San Francisco 49ers.

"I'll be ready," Wagner told Ruiz.

Wagner missed last week's loss to the Carolina Panthers with a pectoral injury.

The Seahawks' defense missed Wagner's productivity on the field. The middle linebacker is second on the team in tackles with 41, despite being inactive last week. He also is the primary play-caller on the field for Seattle's defense. His play-calling and leadership would've been beneficial during Seattle's last defensive play against the Panthers on Sunday.

Look for the Seahawks' defense to bounce back admirably with Wagner full-go against the 49ers.
