Bills' Sammy Watkins, Fred Jackson active vs. Chiefs

Fred Jackson and Sammy Watkins treaded lightly on the practice field this week, but that doesn't mean they won't have a heavy presence Sunday against the Chiefs in Buffalo.

Both Bills playmakers will play. Watkins (groin) hurt himself during practice this week but will be in the lineup -- a huge boost for quarterback Kyle Orton. Jackson has been speeding back from a groin injury he suffered two weeks ago and is almost a full week ahead of his initial timetable.

In other injury news that could have fantasy implications on Sunday, Saints running back Mark Ingram (shoulder) will play vs. the 49ers on Sunday.

Ingram has been on a tear these past two weeks, carrying the ball more times in back-to-back games than he has in his entire career.

Despite New Orleans' desire to give him a rest, Ingram will push through the shoulder injury against a physical San Francisco defense and carry the load once again.

Here are the other injuries we're monitoring on this second Sunday in November:

  1. Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer injured his knee in the fourth quarter against the Rams. The team announced that his return is questionable.
  1. Patrick Willis (toe) will not be a go for the 49ers against the Saints -- he's inactive.
  1. For New Orleans, wideout Robert Meachem is inactive.
  1. As expected, Tony Romo will play against the Jacksonville Jaguarsin London. Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain is also active but won't start, per NFL Media's Kimberly Jones. Their defense will miss defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford, though, who got injured in Week 9 and is inactive.
  1. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have star wideout Vincent Jackson and linebacker Lavonte Davidagainst the Falcons. Also, rookie runner Charles Sims will make his NFL debut. However, the team ruled running back Doug Martin, cornerback Alterraun Verner and defensive Michael Johnson inactive.
  1. Atlanta WR Harry Douglas will play in his second game this season, as he is active.
  1. The Detroit Lions welcome back tight end Brandon Pettigrew, who missed Week 8. Joseph Fauria and Eric Ebron are inactive in the tight end group.
  1. Luckily for the Dolphins, starting running back Lamar Miller's AC sprain didn't keep him out of Week 10; he's active. But starting guard Daryn Colledge is out.
