Jordan Palmer can also toss touchdown passes: The Bengals have been cautious with starting QB Carson Palmer, who threw before the game. Instead, they played his younger brother, who completed 8 of 16 passes for 75 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Bengals WR Chris Henry capped an impressive preseason by catching a touchdown pass in his fourth consecutive game.

The Colts' backup QB put in his work: Being Peyton Manning's backup has been described as the NFL's version of the Maytag repairman. But Jim Sorgi made the most of his annual playing time, completing 11 of 19 passes for 119 yards and one touchdown. Manning and the Colts' other stars didn't play.
