You have lineup questions, we have lineup answers -- at least we hope so. Start 'Em, Sit 'Em is here to help fantasy managers make difficult roster decisions. And you know what is a good move? Starting Christian McCaffrey. But that's too obvious, so you won't see such simple analysis here. Instead, we're exploring more debatable situations. And if you can't find a player you are looking for, please check out the latest NFL Fantasy lineup rankings.

Simply put, Flacco has been a fantasy beast since joining the Bengals, averaging 24.9 fantasy PPG. In fact, he led the NFL in passing yards per game and touchdown passes in Weeks 6-9, showing a safe floor and very high ceiling. Against the Steelers in Week 7, he threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns, going for 26 fantasy points. On the season, Pittsburgh has allowed the second-most passing yards and seventh-most fantasy PPG to QBs.
Herbert delivered a floor game last week despite a favorable matchup on paper due to working behind a banged-up offensive line. He's worth another shot this weekend with another advantageous matchup against the Jaguars. They have allowed the fourth-most touchdown passes and fifth-most fantasy PPG to quarterbacks this season. Perhaps even more important, Jacksonville has generated sacks at the lowest rate in the NFL. That keeps Herbert in play.
Love has had two consecutive extremely poor fantasy outings -- like, single-digit performances. He has shown a low floor but can be a high-ceiling option. Tune out the last two weeks, and look at his 26-plus fantasy points against the Cowboys and Steelers. He has a favorable matchup against the Giants, who have allowed the fourth-most passing yards and fantasy PPG to QBs. They also struggle to defend the deep ball and generate pressure and sacks at below-average rates. This is a recipe for success for Love.
Brissett has been a consistent fantasy option this season, averaging 21.2 fantasy PPG in his four starts. He's had at least 19 fantasy points and multiple passing TDs in each of those games. To put that into context, Brissett's 21.2 points per start are better than the averages for Justin Herbert, Daniel Jones, Dak Prescott and Baker Mayfield, among others. He faces a 49ers defense that has generated pressure at the lowest rate in the league, and five of the last six QBs to face that unit have topped 19 fantasy points (the last two have put up 26). The absence of Marvin Harrison Jr. hurts, but Brissett is still in play.
If you need a streamer ...
At this point, Rodgers has proven to be a floor play, but he's put up good fantasy numbers in the right matchups. So, focus purely on the matchup against the Bengals for this one. In their first meeting in Week 7, Rodgers posted 249 pass yards and four scores for 22.56 fantasy points. Cincy's defense has allowed the second-most fantasy PPG to QBs this season, with the only passers to NOT score at least 19 fantasy points being Jordan Love, Carson Wentz and ironically, Joe Flacco. Rodgers is TD dependent right now but is facing the team that has allowed the most TD passes in the NFL.
Just like with Rodgers, focus on McCarthy's matchup. The Bears have allowed the sixth-most fantasy PPG to QBs this season, including 30-plus to Joe Flacco in Week 9 and 27 points to Jaxson Dart last week in a game he exited early with a concussion. McCarthy's best fantasy performance as a pro came against the Bears in Week 1, when he threw two TDs and ran for another to finish with 22 points. If you are diving deeper into the QB pool, he is in play.
Week 11 is shaping up to be a weird one. Tagovailoa has rarely been a start option this season. However, his matchup in Madrid against the struggling Commanders has him in play as a streaming option. They have allowed the most passing yards, most touchdowns and third-most fantasy PPG to QBs in 2025.
Sit 'Em
Dan Campbell's decision to take over play-calling had a very positive impact on the Lions' offensive attack in Week 10, which is why I'm hesitant about labeling Goff as a sit option. But here's my thinking: The Eagles have allowed the fewest passing TDs in the NFL, and pocket passer Goff is more TD dependent than other quarterbacks. Philly also has allowed the 10th-fewest passing yards and completely shut down Jordan Love and the Packers on Monday night. Goff isn't a must-sit, but if you have another option you like, take it.
The Broncos are 8-2 but Nix has only topped 250 passing yards twice. He is TD reliant and matchup dependent, as his three best fantasy games came against the Giants, Bengals and Cowboys. This week, Nix faces a tough Chiefs defense that has allowed the fifth-fewest passing yards, third-fewest touchdown passes and 12th-fewest fantasy PPG to QBs. Kansas City is also coming off the bye week and is in must-win mode after a 5-4 first half of the season. There are better options than Nix this week.
Last week, Fields threw for a measly 54 yards and a TD to finish with fewer than seven fantasy points. The Patriots are a middle-of-the-pack matchup but excel against the run, allowing the fifth-fewest rushing yards to QBs and only one TD. Garrett Wilson's status is up in the air with a knee injury. Fields' floor is too low to take the risk, especially if his top target is out.
Whether it's Jones or Purdy, this is a tough matchup for the 49ers' starting QB. The Cardinals have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy PPG to QBs -- that includes just 10 passing TDs, the seventh-fewest in the NFL. MVP candidate Sam Darnold scored fewer than five fantasy points against them last week, and while that was more of a result of the game script, Arizona also limited Dak Prescott and Jordan Love to less than 16 fantasy points in the two games prior. Jones has been more of a floor play in his starts. Purdy could show some rust if he returns for his first game since September. Plus, neither QB offers much rushing production.
Lawrence has topped 20 fantasy points twice this season -- both were performances with two rushing scores. What's more problematic is he has only thrown multiple TDs twice in 2025 and has cleared 250 passing yards three times. He floundered against a Texans defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points to QBs, and he faces the a Chargers D this week that has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to the position. Lawrence's floor and ceiling are too low to risk starting him.
