Martellus Bennett helps HS hoops team get their rings

Martellus Bennett is enjoying all the perks of being a champion: I'm sure his offseason has included plenty of bacon, millions of dollars to buy said bacon with, and some studio time to drop fire EPs.

Bennett hasn't forgotten the path he took to get here, though. The new Packers tight end spent three seasons with the Bears and still has ties to the Windy City. When Bennett heard Chicago's Morgan Park high school basketball team had won a state title, but didn't have the funds to provide championship rings for the accomplishment, Bennett came to the rescue. He teamed up with comedian -- and Chicago native -- Hannibal Buress to provide the Morgan Park Mustangs with some really big rings.

Bennett helped design and hand-delivered the rings to the team. Not quite the championship rings that Bears fans were hoping Bennett and Co. would bring to Chicago years ago, but it's a nice gesture nonetheless. Marty B loves the kids.
