Injuries: Dez Bryant to play vs. Eagles; Talib won't play

Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is expected to return to action against the Eagles on Sunday night, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Bryant has been out of action since injuring his knee in Week 3 against the Bears.

In three games this season, Bryant has 8 catches for 150 yards and one touchdown.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo won't be active for Week 9, according to Rapoport. Romo has been trying to return from a back injury that's kept him out all year. Rookie Dak Prescott has dazzled in Romo's absence.

Other injuries we are watching on Sunday:

  1. Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle) and wide receiver Julian Edelman are both active against the Bills, according to Rapoport.
  1. Cardinals wide receiver John Brown (foot) and teammate Michael Floyd (hamstring) are both active. Floyd was expected to be a longshot to play, according to Rapoport.
  1. Bills running back LeSean McCoy (hamstring) is inactive against the Patriots, but the hope is that he will be back on Nov. 7 against the Seahawks. Teammate Mike Gillislee (foot) is active, as well as wide receiver Robert Woods who was listed as questionable.
  1. Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb (hamstring) and teammate Ty Montgomery (illness) are both inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
  1. Redskins tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) and cornerback Josh Norman (concussion) have cleared concussion protocol and are officially active for Sunday's game against the Bengals in London.
  1. Texans running back Lamar Miller (shoulder) is adamant he will play against the Lions, but there are concerns about how much or how long he will last, according to Rapoport.
  1. Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett (thigh) is expected to play against the Saints, according to Rapoport.
  1. Titans running back DeMarco Murray had an MRI on his toe after Tennessee's win over Jacksonville on Thursday, according to Rapoport. A source said that Murray is "going to be fine."
  1. Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennettis set to undergo surgery this week for a cartilage issue and will be out 2 to 3 weeks, a source tells Rapoport.
  1. Redskins safety Will Blackmon has a thumb injury and is questionable. Wideout DeSean Jackson took a big hit after coming down with a difficult catch in the third quarter and went to the locker room soon after. He was deemed to have not suffered a concussion after getting an evaluation, but instead has a head contusion and is questionable to return.
  1. Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib will not play with a back injury, a source informed of the situation told NFL Network's James Palmer.
