Tennessee Titans' Andy Levitre reportedly has appendix removed

Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Andy Levitre reportedly had surgery to remove his appendix on Thursday.

Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports Levitre is expected to miss the first two weeks of training camp, per sources familiar with the situation.

Levitre, a sixth-year guard who's started all 80 games since entering the league, signed with the Titans last year on a six-year, $46.8 million contract after playing four years in Buffalo.

The Titans sport several cogs in one of the league's deepest offensive lines.

Levitre's injury will be one that will be monitored in the early part of camp, but the lineman should be 100 percent by Week 1.
