Rob Housler visiting TE-needy Cleveland Browns

The "Rob Housler Watch" continues. Hopefully it's not keeping you up at night in anticipation of the tight end's landing spot.

Up next on the 27-year-old pass-catcher's itinerary is a trip to Cleveland to meet with the Browns on Wednesday, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

The Browns are a logical stop in Housler's tour. Cleveland is in desperate need of an upgrade to the position after Jordan Cameron defected to South Beach. The current tight end corps in Cleveland consists of Gary Barnidge and Jim Dray.

The 6-foot-5, 250-pound Housler is the kind of catch-first tight end who the Browns need to add at some point this offseason. While he's a downgrade from Cameron, given Housler's size and athleticism, the pass-catcher could turn into gold in the right scheme.

Housler previously visited the Cincinnati Bengals, Atlanta Falcons and has drawn interest from the Baltimore Ravens.
