Quick Take: Steelers/Browns

In Brief

» Last meeting:Ben Roethlisberger passed for 417 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Steelers past the Browns, 27-14, in Week 6.
» Streaks: The Steelers have beaten the Browns 12 straight times, and own a 60-55 overall series edge (includes playoffs) thanks to their recent dominance.
» Last week: Pittsburgh was stunned at home by Oakland, giving up a late TD in a 27-24 loss. ... Cleveland fought until the end, but ultimately wound up losing to San Diego, 30-23.

Keep your eye on ...Mike Tomlin's adjustments: Pittsburgh's coach hinted that lineup changes might be in store as he tries to snap his team out of its slump. This is the first time in Tomlin's young coaching career that he has faced serious adversity, and how he responds will be key as the Steelers try to stay alive in the playoff race.

Limas Sweed's contributions: Hines Ward could miss this game with a hamstring injury, which would leave the Steelers short at the receiver position. Sweed has only one catch all season and has been a major disappointment after getting drafted in the second round of the 2008 draft. This could be his chance to step up and show he has what it takes to be a productive player.

Brady Quinn's development: The biggest question facing the Browns is whether Quinn is their long-term answer at quarterback. He has played well at times in recent weeks, but has yet to develop any consistency. After last week's solid performance against the Chargers, he now faces a Pittsburgh defense that has slipped of late.
