Quick Take: Seahawks hold off Raiders

It was over when
Raiders quarterback Daunte Culpepper threw an interception midway through the fourth quarter. Oakland never threatened again and Seattle ended the preseason with a 19-14 victory.

Game balls
Return man Johnnie Lee Higgins was the lone bright spot for the Raiders, returning a punt 90 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. For the Seahawks, running back Leonard Weaver impressed with 74 yards rushing on 16 carries.

Key stat
Seattle went for it three times on fourth down and failed to convert any of those attempts.

Noteworthy
In the battle for the starting quarterback job, Culpepper slightly outplayed Josh McCown. Culpepper threw for 108 yards, one touchdown and one interception while McCown amassed 75 yards in the air with no touchdowns or interceptions.
