Who takes over for WR Chaz Schilens?: The second-year receiver was a favorite target of QB JaMarcus Russell against Dallas last week. But Schilens is out after breaking a bone in his foot, opening the door for one of the other Raiders receivers to emerge.
RB Darren McFadden taking over: The former Arkansas Razorback opened the season second on the Raiders depth chart. But McFadden looked like a No. 1 running back last week against Dallas, rushing for 63 yards on four attempts, including a 45-yard scamper.
49ers QB competition:Shaun Hill is believed to be the early leader in this competition, starting last week. But Alex Smith looked sharp, completing 5 of 7 passes for 33 yards and a touchdown in the first week of preseason.
