Trailing 23-0, Lions starting QB Daunte Culpepper left the game with a hamstring injury during the first possession of the third quarter. With Detroit already struggling offensively and Matthew Stafford still sidelined, the Lions resorted to third-stringer Drew Stanton, who went 5 of 11 for 57 yards and two interceptions.

Game ball

It was WR Donald Driver's day at Lambeau Field. Not only did Driver break Sterling Sharpe's franchise record for receptions (595) on his first grab of the game, he finished with seven catches for 107 yards. Driver now has 602 career receptions as a Packer.

Key Stat

Despite a one-sided win, the Packers' issues with pass protection continued. Green Bay, which had allowed a league-high 20 sacks heading into the game, let the Lions drop QB Aaron Rodgers five times.

Noteworthy

Green Bay's last shutout victory was 34-0 over the Vikings on Nov. 11, 2007. The last time the Packers blanked the Lions was on Nov. 17, 1946. ... Detroit has now lost 19 consecutive games in Green Bay dating back to 1992. ... Rodgers finished 29 of 37 for 358 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. ...
