Peyton Manning's protection: The star quarterback may have been on the field for fewer than five minutes in the preseason opener, but in that brief time he was running for his life. The Eagles' defense is predicated around pressuring the passer, so Manning could take a few more hits, if his line doesn't improve.

LeSean McCoy's versatility: In his preseason debut last week, the Eagles rookie rusher was very impressive, accounting for 67 total yards. With starter Brian Westbrook still on the mend from ankle surgery, McCoy figures to get plenty of action again vs. the Colts.

Jeremy Maclin's continued education: Philadelphia hopes the rookie receiver makes a similar impact to the one DeSean Jackson made in his first year last season. In order to do that, he must capitalize on all the reps he gets in the preseason.
