Bengals' passing game After missing the last two games with an ankle injury, there's a chance that quarterback Carson Palmer will play. The Bengals have struggled on offense, accounting for just 28 points in three games, and could use the extra work with their franchise quarterback, who missed 12 games in 2008. The Bengals have weapons in Chad Ochocinco and Chris Henry at receiver, but would prefer to shake Palmer's rust off in the preseason finale as opposed to Week 1 against the Lions.

Painting a picture:Peyton Manning has looked sharp this preseason and may see only a series or two in the finale, which means rookie QB Curtis Painter could see a lot of action. Painter has increased his passing yards each week. Still, he's unlikely to see much action during the regular season, so taking advantage of his remaining reps in a live game will only help in his development.
