Phil Dawson kicked a 25-yard field goal in overtime (his ninth career game-winner) to give the Browns their third straight victory for the first time since 2001.

On the day Jamal Lewis' single-game rushing record was broken by a Adrian Peterson, Lewis ran for just 37 yards for the Browns. But he found the end zone four times, and also caught four balls for 67 yards. ... For Seattle, WR Nate Burleson had four receptions for 59 yards and also returned a punt 94 yards (a franchise record) for a touchdown in the second quarter that put the Seahawks up by 14.

The Seahawks were unable to get to Anderson, who stayed on his feet all day and finished with 364 yards on 29-of-48 passsing. His favorite target, Kellen Winslow, had 11 receptions for 125 yards.

Noteworthy
Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander left the game in the first quarter with an undisclosed injury but returned before the half. This was Alexander's sixth straight games without a TD. ... The Browns have 27 touchdowns on the season; they had 25 total last season.
