Pierre Garcon out for Washington Redskins' Week 3 game

Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon will not play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, NFL Network's Michelle Beisner reported Sunday, citing the team.

The Redskins offically ruled out Garcon later Sunday morning.

Garcon missed the Redskins' Week 2 loss to the St. Louis Rams with a right foot injury that he suffered in Week 1.

Garcon, a former Indianapolis Colt, emerged as a favorite weapon of Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III during the preseason. Garcon had four receptions for 109 yards and one touchdown in the team's Week 1 win in New Orleans.
