Oregon CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu: No draft decision yet

Oregon cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu said Friday that he has not made a decision whether to declare for the 2014 NFL Draft, refuting a report by 24/7 Sports that he would return to school for his senior season.

Ekpre-Olomu told reporters during a news conference ahead of Monday's Alamo Bowl against Texas that he would meet with his parents before making any such decision, but they are currently on a trip to Africa.

Ekpre-Olomu, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound junior, ranks second on the team this season in tackles (78) and interceptions (3) and also has six pass breakups and four tackles for loss.

As the top cover corner on the West Coast, Ekpre-Olomu would be in the mix to be one of the first defensive backs off the board should he declare for the draft. If Ekpre-Olomu decides to follow quarterback Marcus Mariota and center Hroniss Grasu in returning for one more season, he would give retiring defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti's replacement an All-America building block to work with in the secondary.
