Montravius Adams becomes Packer and father on same day

PHILADELPHIA -- How's this for a special day?

Auburn defensive lineman Montravius Adams' son was born Friday just before he received a call from the Green Bay Packers that he would be the club's third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport posted a photo of Adams holding his new child while taking the call from Green Bay:

It doesn't get any better than that.

Adams (6-foot-4, 304 pounds) posted his best college season as a senior last year for the Tigers, making 4.5 sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss among 44 stops. He also helped his draft cause with a strong showing at the Reese's Senior Bowl in January, and ran a 4.87 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.
