Michael Turner sprains ankle in Atlanta Falcons' loss

Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner failed to return to Sunday's 28-24 NFC Championship loss to the San Francisco 49ers after suffering a sprained ankle in the third quarter.

Turner, who was replaced by Jacquizz Rodgers, rushed for 30 yards on eight carries.

Turner rushed for 800 yards and 10 touchdowns during the regular season.
