Marc Ross given OK to interview for Jets, Panthers' GM jobs

Marc Ross, the New York Giants' director of college scouting, has been given permission to interview for the general manager positions with the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers, NFL.com's Albert Breer reported.

The Panthers also will interview Giants senior pro personnel analyst Dave Gettleman for their GM job.

NFL Network's Kimberly Jones first reported that the Jets had sought permission to speak with 37-year-old Ross.
