Gary Guyton signs contract with Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have signed linebacker Gary Guyton, according to a source who has spoken with the player.

The former New England Patriot had 229 tackles in three years in New England, shuttling between being a starter and backup. Guyton signed with the Miami Dolphins in the offeason, but was later released.

The Cowboys have has dealt with several injuries at linebacker, notably the season-ending toe ailment for starter Sean Lee. Guyton has played both on the inside and outside.
