A couple of AFC South teams could be looking to upgrade their respective defensive lines.
CBS first reported the Indy visit, then Poe spoke with ESPN.
New Colts general manager Chris Ballard came from Kansas City where he has an excellent picture of what Poe, the No. 11 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, is capable of. Poe had 1.5 sacks for the Chiefs this past year along with three passes defensed and a forced fumble. Not the typical nose tackle, the 6-3, 340-pound lineman can appear anywhere across a versatile 3-4 front.
Pagano's defense is now squarely on the chopping block after the club decided to move on from former general manager Ryan Grigson. Locking up Poe would go a long way toward patching some holes.
