Wallace pleaded not guilty in court. Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is being charged with Lloyd's murder and also has pleaded not guilty.

The Associated Press reported that Wallace mouthed "I love you" to some people in the courtroom. Wallace and Carlos Ortiz are accused of being with Hernandez when prosecutors say they drove with Lloyd to an industrial park on June 17. Lloyd eventually was found dead at the park.

Wallace is due back in court July 22 for a pre-trial hearing.
