Chuck Pagano set for Indianapolis Colts return Monday

Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano, in remission after being diagnosed with leukemia in September, had bloodwork done Sunday in preparation for a return to football.

And, in the wake of Sunday's 20-13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, NFL.com and NFL Network learned that Pagano indeed plans to return to work Monday.

The Colts had set this week as the target for Pagano's return a couple months ago. Pagano was cleared by doctors last week.

Pagano has been at several Colts home games, but next Sunday would be his first one working since the diagnosis.

The Colts rallied to a 10-5 record behind interim coach Bruce Arians and clinched the AFC's No. 5 playoff seed with Sunday's victory in Kansas City.
