Chris Kuper, Denver Broncos restructure his 2013 salary

Chris Kuper has three years remaining on his contract with the Denver Broncos, but the parties have agreed to restructure the terms and financials for the 2013 season.

Kuper is scheduled to make a base-guaranteed salary of $1.05 million this season, as part of an injury-protection settlement, regardless of how many games the veteran guard plays.

Where the change comes is in the amount of money he can make in playing-time incentives. According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Kuper can make as much as $2.8 million and as little as a total of $1.1 million based on how many games he plays.

The modifications to Kuper's contract already have been agreed to, and the deal should be signed today, per Rapoport.
