Bills sign two free agents

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Free-agent wide receiver P.K. Sam and center Marvin Philip signed with the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday.

Sam, selected by New England in the fifth round of the 2004 draft out of Florida State, played two games with the Patriots as a rookie. He played for the Canadian Football League's Toronto Argonauts last season. He also spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders.

Philip was on the New Orleans Saints' practice squad for part of last season. He was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round of the 2006 draft out of California and also spent time with the Cleveland Browns.
