Bears waive S Venable

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) - Safety Winston Venable has been waived by the Chicago Bears.

An undrafted free agent out of Boise State a year ago, Venable appeared in 12 games and had 10 special teams tackles.

The Bears announced the move on Thursday.
