America's Team: Down but not out

It all came down to a kicker.

America's Team had a lead of about two points heading into the Monday night game, and only one player on Molly Qerim's team was left to play. Steven Hauschka, the kicker for the Seattle Seahawks, finished with 9.00 fantasy points and was the icing on the proverbial cake for Qerim's team. That's right America, we lost via field goals. Fantasy football can be cruel and unusual but that's why we love it, right?

America's last minute decision to bench Pierre Thomas for Eddie Royal was a major detriment in this matchup. We left Thomas on our bench and he went off for 23.30 points. A combined 8.70 fantasy points from our starting running backs didn't help either. Reggie Bush left the game early with an ankle injury, while Chris Ivory and his Jets were shutout against the Chargers. Plus, last week's waiver wire pickup, Giants' tight end Larry Donnell, wasn't targeted a single time and served up a goose egg. Add in the negative-three points the Bengals defense handed us, and it was definitely a week to forget.

Luckily, we had the top waiver wire pick and were able to secure Chargers running back Branden Oliver for our Week 6 matchup. America's Team faces NFL Fantasy LIVE analyst Elliot Harrison next. He owns Julio Jones, Arian Foster, Steve Smith and Vincent Jackson, so America's Team will really need to step up if we want to win.

Should we start Reggie Bush or Eddie Royal in Week 6? What about Sammy Watkins or Pierre Garcon? And should we add one of the two available New England running backs since both Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen are available? These decisions and more are all up to you, America!
