PLAYER ANALYSIS
Two-year starter (Virginia Tech and UMass) with adequate size, good athleticism and above-average speed for the position. Watts possesses the physical and athletic profile of a Power Five cornerback but his ball production and stickiness in coverage are both just average by NFL standards. He lacks desired play strength for press and will need to improve his discipline in off coverages. He's both athletic and tough enough for the pro game and should have a chance to state his case in camp.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Well-proportioned and well-built, Holmes spent his entire career at cornerback but has size and physicality that is more reminiscent of a safety. He can lose the route when he gets too aggressive in press and he doesn't play with the makeup burst to recover quickly. He's a physical ball-challenger when he's in position and can step up and support the run effectively. Holmes appears suited for off-man and zone coverages. He has a chance to be a late-round pick and could get a look at safety if cornerback doesn't work out.

King simply falls too far below the quarterback threshold considering his level of play wasn't good enough to create an exception for his size. He hasn't played receiver since 2017 but appeared to be more than capable at the position when asked to play it. He's well-built for a role as a slot but needs to train for better short-area quickness and route running. His ability to run RPO and zone-read packages could be enticing for teams looking to create as many options as possible for their offense.

There's plenty to like about Bland's physical traits and potential but holes in both man and zone coverage could create some doubt about his future success. Bland lacks coverage fluidity but his physical cover style should work in his favor if he can play with better discipline. He could be a zone corner fit and has the physical tools for safety consideration if he can charge up his tackle toughness.

One look at Young's chiseled frame and long limbs and evaluators are likely to see a developmental prospect worthy of a late-round pick. While Young certainly looks the part, his route-running and ball skills fall short of pro expectations. He should improve in most areas with additional coaching and could see a big leap forward if he can play faster and more physically on a consistent basis. Young's traits are sure to entice, but necessary improvements could be at least a couple of years away.

Harper is a 4-3 Will linebacker candidate whose strong athletic traits could outweigh his lack of starting experience for some teams. His pursuit of the ball is bolstered by his speed and agility, providing him with NFL-caliber range. However, his lack of instincts and play recognition will require a much-needed upgrade. Three-year starter who has become more consistent inside his offense, but the tape fails to dazzle. Crum won't take many chances that lead to interceptions, but he's also not equipped to avoid them if he wants to become a more aggressive thrower. His sluggish release is backed by a lack of zip, which leads to a high percentage of his throws being contested. He's courageous both inside and outside the pocket and helps himself as a runner, but may not have enough talent as a passer to play in the league.

Two-year starter at inside linebacker who plays at a consistent level but fails to really stamp games as his own. Hummel's testing numbers and ability to step into a core special-teams role will elevate his chances of making a team as a late-round pick or undrafted free agent, but his recognition and flow to the football are just average. Safety prospect with good size and field recognition but major deficiencies that could be tough to overcome. O'Neal puts the work in and it shows with the way he locates routes and rushes on top of them as a zone defender. While he has some success playing forward, he's missing the hips and speed to hold up as a last line of defense against NFL speed. To make the situation muddier, O'Neal was an inconsistent tackler throughout his time at Texas A&M, which could add to the challenge of making a roster in 2022.

Goodrich had a long wait to get his shot but was ready when it finally came for him. He has size and plays a physical brand of coverage but might be tethered to a zone scheme due to a lack of desired chase speed. He has some recognition talent, allowing for decent head starts to squeeze routes in his area. He also has the length to help play the passing lanes, but he's more likely to tackle the catch than play the football. He's reliable against the run and has classic Cover 2 traits, but Goodrich might receive some consideration as a backup safety.

Active, lanky safety with run support flashes but a need for better technique and body control as a tackler. Bell has experience at a variety of alignments but is too tight-hipped to be cast in heavy-duty coverage assignments. His movements are unorthodox and lack desired fluidity, but he plays with a burst to close that helps him do his job. Former basketball standout with footwork and athleticism for more complex route-running on the first two levels. Hendershot has played between 240 and 265 pounds, so finding the proper weight for his usage could be critical. He plays with a competitive demeanor as both a receiver and blocker. He will likely be viewed as an "F" tight end with a greater focus on his pass-catching and run-after-catch talent. While he has enough talent to compete for a roster spot, his 2020 arrest will need to be vetted by teams evaluating him for the draft.

Fryfogle simply didn't play with the same determination and focus in 2021 that he displayed in 2020. He blends size and speed and uses his frame effectively in tight quarters but failed to secure throws at the same success rate as his previous two seasons. Two-year starter whose NFL-caliber athletic testing doesn't always show up with projectable tape. Roberson has build-up speed but can struggle to get off press and avoid route redirection. He's a leggy route-runner whose lack of suddenness in and out of breaks forces him into a high percentage of contested catches. Team leader and productive player for successful Sooner offenses during his three seasons as a starter. Hall frequently aligned at wingback but was a little inconsistent at finding his angles and sticking to his block when asked to be an extension of the offensive line in the run game. He has the toughness and pass-catching acumen to fold into a fullback role for teams utilizing 21 personnel groupings and he might benefit from a more focused itinerary as a lead blocker. His high football character and core special-teams potential increase his odds of landing an NFL job, but becoming a stickier blocker might be the key to establishing career longevity at the next level.

Sterns is a squatty, compact slot target who mitigates his lack of size and speed with an extreme level of toughness. The productivity is impressive, but his play strength, hands and willingness to work into the teeth of the defense will really stand out to evaluators. Robinson's inexperience at linebacker will require a longer developmental runway, but it also opens the door for more impactful molding at the position. He seems to play with better speed and explosion on tape than he showed at his pro day, but inconsistent leverage and his wrap-up technique lead to missed opportunities in the run game. Robinson's special teams play will be the key to grabbing a roster spot, but even if he fails to make an active roster right away, a team might be wise to stash him on the practice squad and continue his linebacker development.

Athletic free safety with NFL traits and adequate pattern recognition but wildly inconsistent results relative to his potential. Bolden is fluid in space with a smooth pedal and loose hips. He has cover talent, but lacks on-ball production and will allow for yards after the catch due to mistakes with tackle angles. He played through a shoulder injury for much of last season, which may have had some impact on his run support, but the 2020 tape had issues in the same area. Taylor-Stuart has all the traits found with top cornerbacks in the league, but he was simply too lost in coverage for chunks of last season. He gives away too much space inside the route from a variety of coverage schemes and needs to play with more urgent squeeze from the jump. He will be an impressive tester and has the size and length to harass throws if he's in position. He lacks physicality as a run defender and is likely to be seen as a press-man corner. PLAYER ANALYSIS
Koback failed to garner an NFL Scouting Combine invitation despite rock-solid production during his stint at Toledo, but an explosive pro day could have general managers going back to the tape. Koback looks the part and can run with some natural power, but he's a disjointed and uncreative interior runner. He needs a clear runway to hit most of his biggest runs. He could benefit from a more standard run scheme, but he's more likely to garner attention for his potential as a third-down option with size.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Paul has a guard body but played out of position at tackle over the last two seasons. There are limited downhill run reps over his last two years at tackle and his guard tape from 2019 is still a little raw, making his guard projection a tad murky. He's highly intelligent on and off the field. Picking up technique and scheme will not be a problem for him. However, picking up twists and slants might be an issue due to a lack of foot quickness and reactive agility. Paul has the size, strength, football character and toughness to play NFL guard but the limitations could make it a short stay in the league.

Round 5 • Pick 18
PLAYER ANALYSIS
Jackson's freestyling, downhill approach produced a spike in overall production in 2021, but also led to missed run fits and big plays for the running game. He has some talent at slipping blocks but it is usually lights out once blockers get their hands on him. His pursuit speed, combined with a lack of desired instincts, could necessitate a move to 4-3 Will linebacker, where his coverage potential and special-teams ability might land him a backup gig.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
The body type, length and rush get-off all work in Anenih's favor but he's far from a finished product. He can be disruptive in a one-gap, slanting attack, but tends to struggle when asked to take on blocks and engage in combat at the point of attack. The pass rush will require better hand usage to make up for a lack of coordination, but he does have the first-step quickness to create occasional advantages. He might never be a well-rounded prospect, but Anenih does have immediate practice-squad potential.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
There's not much tape to lean on over the last two years, but Deng clearly lacks the body type of an inside linebacker and the play strength of a 3-4 edge. He does, however, possess adequate instincts with rare length/range that could make him worthy of a look as a developmental project at inside linebacker. Putting another 15 to 20 pounds on his slender frame is a must in order to withstand the rigors of the position.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Anderson gives glimpses of next-level potential thanks to his impressive size and length, but it never fully materializes into the success you might expect. His long frame should be able to carry more mass, allowing him to profile as a 3-4 end. He lacks explosiveness off the ball and needs more schooling in both the run and rush phases. Anderson's tape isn't good enough on its own, but his traits and size could make him a developmental project.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Defensive back with the size and athletic testing that could have teams deciding between casting him as a safety or cornerback. He has good recovery speed, but the body control and route anticipation create issues with giving away open throwing windows on the second and third levels. He's quick to respond when reading the run but will miss more tackles than he should. Adams has the traits and versatility to compete for a practice squad role early on.

PLAYER ANALYSIS
Edge defender with good hands but a lack of size and strength for the position. Anthony will need to add more go-to moves and counters to overcome just average rush traits.
