Tinker joined many others in the Tuscaloosa area in losing a loved one to the April 2011 tornado that ravaged the area; he and his girlfriend, Ashley, were thrown from his house during the storm, but she did not survive. The team’s BCS title run the following season helped heal the community, if only in a small amount compared to what was lost. Now NFL scouts will be looking to see if Tinker can ratchet up the velocity of his snaps while keeping his excellent accuracy to earn a job at the next level.

This native Iowan, who set many state high school passing records, patiently waited for Ricky Stanzi to graduate before getting the keys to the Hawkeyes’ offense. He didn’t set the college football world on fire with his play as a first-year starter in 2011 (58.7 completion percentage, 3,022 yards, 25 TD, seven INT) and struggled mightly as a senior (57.3 completion percentage, 2,249 yards, seven touchdowns, eight interceptions). Still, Vandenburg has shown the ability to be a rhythm passer who will likely be brought into camp as an undrafted free agent for a team that runs a more up-tempo type of offense.

The large safety put together a good week of practice at the East-West Shrine Game, showing tight angles and awareness in coverage.

Stuck behind Justin Hunter and Cordarrelle Patterson, Rogers found his niche as Tennessee's third receiver. He consistently finds open areas downfield behind coverage and could be a better pro than college player due to a limited number of targets.
