FedEx Air & Ground® NFL Player of the Year Nominee Pool Expands for the First Time

The NFL's Longest-Running Fan-Voted Awards Program Will Honor the Top Three Players of the Year at Super Bowl LX

For the first time in the program's 23-year history, nine offensive nominees representing quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends will compete for a FedEx Air & Ground NFL Player of the Year Award. Additionally, new for 2026, FedEx will reveal three trophies, one for the best of three quarterbacks, one for the best of three running backs as well as one for the winning wide receiver and/or tight end from a final nomination group of three.

The 2025-26 season marked the second time the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards recognized play from wide receivers and tight ends, reflecting the evolving nature of the game and FedEx's continued commitment to innovation and precision – both on the field and in business.

Fans now have the chance to cast their vote for the top three players they feel had the season's best Air & Ground performances. Beginning Friday, January 9 through Wednesday, February 4 at 6 p.m. ET, fans can vote at on nfl.com/fedex, via an X (formerly Twitter) poll on the @NFL official handle, or directly through the NFL Mobile App.

With the crowning of the new FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Year, FedEx will donate $15,000 to Feeding America food banks in the of each winning player's home market.

During the 2025-26 season, the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards program supported Feeding America for the first time with every Player of the Week honor resulting in a $2,000 donation (totaling $4,000 each week) to local food banks. In total, $117,000 will be donated during the 2025-26 season as part of FedEx, Feeding America, and the NFL's longstanding commitment to addressing food insecurity.

FedEx will announce the 2025 FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Year at the 15th annual NFL Honors, presented by Invisalign. The primetime awards special will air nationally on Thursday, February 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET on NBC and NFL Network from the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, CA. Fans can also stream NFL Honors on Peacock and NFL+.
