Vinatieri breaks record for consecutive field goals

Adam Vinatieri nailed a 33-yard field goal in the third quarter of the Colts' 34-26 victory over the Titans, setting an NFL record with 43 consecutive makes.

The 21-year pro tied and passed former Colts kicker Mike Vanderjagt (42 straight) on Sunday.

Vinatieri has not missed a field goal since Week 2, 2015.

The most clutch kicker in NFL history is Hall of Fame bound after he decides to hang up his booting shoe. Sunday's record just pads his already impressive resume.
