Taylor Mays didn't last very long in Cincinnati. Now we're starting to figure out why.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday Mays is suspended a total of eight games for the 2016 season after the player incurred another substance abuse violation, per the league.
Mays was suspended four games in March also for violating the league's policy on substances of abuse.
If Mays is ready to play after his latest suspension, Cincinnati hasn't ruled out bringing him back, Rapoport reported.
