Texas A&M at Alabama

Three top players: Texas A&M (OL Cedric Ogbuehi, OL Jarvis Harrison, CB Deshazor Everett); Alabama (WR Amari Cooper, DB Landon Collins, RB T.J. Yeldon).

Three top players: Tennessee (WR Marquez North, LB A.J. Johnson, LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin); Ole Miss (OL Laremy Tunsil, WR Laquon Treadwell, DB Cody Prewitt).

Brooks' take: "A.J. Johnson, the linebacker, is going to attract a lot of attention because he is a tackling machine in the middle. Cody Prewitt (from Ole Miss) is a ball-hawking safety who could be drawing a lot of interest from guys."

Notre Dame at Florida State

Three top players: Notre Dame (QB Everett Golson, DL Sheldon Day, LB Jaylon Smith); Florida State (OL Cameron Erving, QB Jameis Winston, CB Ronald Darby).

Brooks' take: "Both quarterbacks are going to be closely watched. Jameis, to see how he handles the pressure of performing with everything swirling around him. And Everett Golson, seeing if there is any truth to the Russell Wilson comparisons. He needs a lot of improvement as a pocket passer, but can he do it against a defense with NFL-caliber talent?"

Stanford at Arizona State

Three top players: Stanford (OL Andrus Peat, OL Kyle Murphy, WR Ty Montgomery); Arizona State (WR Jaelen Strong, OL Jamil Douglas, RB D.J. Foster).

Brooks' take: "Jaelen Strong, the wide receiver, could be the next in line with those big-bodied playmakers who are taking over the NFL. There will be a lot of interest watching him against (Stanford corners) Wayne Lyons and Alex Carter."

Baylor at West Virginia

Three top players: Baylor (QB Bryce Petty, WR Antwan Goodley, DE Shawn Oakman); West Virginia (OL Quinton Spain, WR Kevin White, DB Karl Joseph).

Brooks' take: "You always want to see the best quarterbacks live. They want to see if Bryce Petty looks more like an NFL quarterback, or more a product of the (Baylor offensive) system."

Kansas State at Oklahoma

Three top players: Kansas State (LB Ryan Mueller, WR Tyler Lockett, OL Cody Whitehair); Oklahoma (LB Eric Striker, OL Tyrus Thompson, OL Daryl Williams).

Brooks' take: "Tyler Lockett is maybe the most explosive punt returner in football. He also is a pretty good pass receiver who is a legacy, his dad played for the Kansas City Chiefs. There is some intrigue there, watching him against Zack Sanchez."

Georgia at Arkansas

Three top players: Georgia (LB Leonard Floyd, CB Damian Swann, WR Malcolm Mitchell); Arkansas (DE Trey Flowers, RB Alex Collins, OL Brey Cook).

Brooks' take: "The scouts there will be looking to see how Trey Flowers not only rushes the passer, but how he plays against the run, how he holds up against that physical offensive line."
