You might not have heard this expression previously, but the NFL is a quarterback league. It's true. There are so many good quarterbacks available right now, it's crazy. There are just about five quarterbacks you can't play anymore.
Like Matt Schaub, who has a great matchup against the Tennessee Titans this week. Schaub has thrown 17 touchdown passes with just two turnovers in eight career starts against Tennessee. In fact, he's had at least two touchdown passes in seven consecutive starts against the Titans and just one interception in eight games.
Now, here are the rest of Rank's 11.
Terrelle Pryor, QB, Oakland Raiders: He was the leading rusher in the NFL after Sunday's games. He's going to be a strictly matchup-based quarterback but he has a good one this week against the Jaguars. Jacksonville allowed four rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks in 2012, good for third-most in the NFL.
Brent Celek, TE, Philadelphia Eagles: We said during the preseason that if you missed out during the great "tight end run" in your fantasy draft, don't panic because you can find value everywhere. And here's Celek who scored last week. Now he's going up against the Chargers who allowed three touchdowns to tight ends last year.
Chiefs D/ST: I ended up with the Chiefs last week because everybody took my advice and added the Bucs (going against the Jets) or Colts (going against the Raiders). The Chiefs weren't a bad option with 23 points against the Jaguars. This matchup would normally be bad, with the Cowboys. But Tony Romo is hurt. Dez Bryant is hurt. And the Chiefs are going to be good this week. We will talk later about the Chiefs' Week 3 game against the Eagles.
Did you know that Adam Rank won last year's Expert's League title? Oh that's right, it's like the only thing he ever talks about. Well congratulations, Rank. You finally did something. What have you done for us lately? Let's worry about 2013 and stop living in the past. Typical Lakers fan, am I right? Oh, if you found this useful (as if) check him out on the latest "Dave Dameshek Football Program". And follow him on Twitter, please. He's taking us to lunch if he gets 17 more Twitter followers today. And we only got 15 the last time, so step up fantasy enthusiasts!
