The Jets' Darelle Revis is on the verge of becoming an elite corner and showed why Sunday by making Andre Johnson a complete non-factor. Revis held Johnson -- the league's reigning receptions leader -- to four catches for 35 yards, including just one reception in the first half.

Rex Ryan said the Jets were going to win games with a powerful running game and a smothering defense, and that was the Jets' exact recipe against the Texans. Ryan's crew totaled more yards rushing (190) than the Texans had in total offense (183).
