Quick Take: Seahawks at Bills

Last meeting
Then-Bills QB Drew Bledsoe threw three interceptions, but RB Willis McGahee ran for 116 yards and four touchdowns, helping Buffalo roll over Seattle, 38-9 in Week 12 of the 2004 season.

Streaks
The Bills have beaten the Seahawks two out of the last three times and lead the overall series 6-4.

Keep your eye on ...
Bills QB Trent Edwards: Edwards missed the final two games of the preseason with a deep bruise above his right knee but is expected to start against the Seahawks.

Bills LT Langston Walker: LT Jason Peters ended his holdout Friday, but is not expected to play until Week 2. The Bills have moved Walker to Peters' spot after playing all of last season at right tackle. Backup Kirk Chambers will take over on the right side.

Seahawks WR Nate Burleson: With injuries to Bobby Engram (shoulder), Deion Branch (knee) and Ben Obomanu (season-ending clavicle injury), Burleson seems to be the only reliable option for Matt Hasselbeck, who is battling a back injury but is expected to start.

Seattle's running game: Gone are the days when Seattle leaned on Shaun Alexander and its ground game. Offseason acquisitions Julius Jones and T.J. Duckett will compliment starter Maurice Morris against an improved Bills run defense.

Did you know?
In his only start at Buffalo, Hasselbeck posted 98.8 passer rating. In starts with 10-plus attempts (including playoffs), Hasselbeck is 30-6 when posting 95-plus rating. ... Bills RB Marshawn Lynch has recorded 70 or more rushing yards in seven of his past eight games. Lynch led all AFC rookies with 1,115 yards and seven TDs last year. Lynch averages 92.7 rushing yards per game at home. ... In Buffalo's last meeting with Seattle, WR Lee Evans had six catches for 70 yards with one TD. Evans has five 70-plus yard touchdown receptions -- tied for most in the NFL since 2000.
