Saints CB Tracy Porter picked off a Chad Henne pass and returned it 54 yards for a touchdown with just under 2 minutes remaining. The score gave New Orleans a two-possession lead and preserved the Saints' perfect season.

Jonathan Vilma's spirited play ignited a Saints defense that struggled at times with the Dolphins' power running game. His stats (10 tackles) belie the impact Vilma had on energizing a unit that was out of sorts in the first half.

Key Stat

New Orleans' red zone efficiency was the difference in this contest. The Saints scored touchdowns on four of their five red zone trips, while the Dolphins convered on only three of six.
