Last meeting:
The Patriots survived a close call in Baltimore to escape with a 27-24 victory in Week 13 and keep their 2007 perfect season alive.

Streaks:
All four meetings have been won by New England.

Last week:
Fred Taylor rushed for 105 yards and the Patriots held the ball for almost 40 minutes in a 26-10 win over the Falcons. ... The Ravens dominated in every facet of the game and clobbered the rival Browns, 34-3.

Keep your eye on...

Tom Brady's comfort level in the pocket: At times this season, Brady has looked hesitant to really step into his throws or step up in the pocket. After suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 1 last season, Brady is still finding his rhythm and has been shaky when pressured. Look for the Ravens to try and hit him early and often.

The effectiveness of New England's rushing attack: The Patriots rushed for 168 yards in Week 3 after struggling some on the ground in the first two weeks. While Baltimore boasts the best run defense in the NFL, it is imperative for New England to establish a running game to help ease the burden on Brady.

Joe Flacco's maturity: The Patriots' defense revolves around confusing opposing quarterbacks and forcing them into mistakes. New England held second-year QB Matt Ryan in check last week and now it has another chance to stymie a quarterback from the 2008 draft class. Flacco has played extremely well this season, but he has yet to face an elite defense.

Did you know?

The Ravens have scored a combined six points in two games at New England. ... Baltimore has scored more points this season than any team in the AFC with 103. ... Patriots WR Randy Moss has a career-low 10.8 yard per catch average. ... New England has allowed just one sack this season.
