Rams' quarterback situation: Marc Bulger was pulled during the team's loss last week and was benched earlier this season. Coach Jim Haslett, however, said that Bulger is not in danger of losing his job as a starter. But will Bulger be given a quick hook if the team struggles? Bulger has 10 touchdowns and four interceptions in his career against the 49ers.

49ers' focus:Mike Singletary made a huge imprint on the 49ers in his first game as coach in Week 8, pulling quarterback J.T. O'Sullivan and sending enigmatic tight end Vernon Davis to the shower. The 49ers responded with a great effort in Week 10 after the bye week, but fell just short. Will the 49ers continue to receive their old-school coach's message and show improvement?

Gore for more:49ers running back Frank Gore has had some success against St. Louis, scoring six touchdowns in his last five games against the Rams. He didn't get his team's final carry on Monday night; we'll see how much that will be a motivator.
