NFL Replay will re-air the New Orleans Saints' 38-17 win over the New England  Patriots on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Saints S Darren Sharper intercepted Tom Brady's pass midway through the fourth quarter and New Orleans leading 38-17. Rookie QB Brian Hoyer took snaps for New England's final two drives.

Game ball

Saints QB Drew Brees completed 18 of 23 passes for 371 yards and five touchdowns. He leads the league with 27 TD passes and has thrown for at least 300 yards in his last five games on Monday Night Football.

Key Stat

When Brees wasn't on the field, the Saints' defense was able to limit what was the NFL's No. 2 offense coming in to 17 points. New Orleans recorded two sacks, forced a fumble and had two interceptions, including one by 33-year-old CB Mike McKenzie, who was signed by the Saints last week.

Noteworthy

This was the first time since at least 1960 that the top two offenses that each average 400-plus total yards have faced each other in Week 12 or later. ...
