DeAngelo Williams scored his third touchdown of the game on a 32-yard run with 34 seconds left in the first half. The touchdown put Carolina up 21-0 against a team that couldn't move the ball.

Kansas City had no answer for Williams. The Carolina running back had his best game of the season, running around the Chiefs' defense for a career-high 123 yards and two scores, and adding a 25-yard TD catch.

The Panthers outgained the Chiefs by 315 yards. The Chiefs were outrushed 206-35 for the game, and had just 3 yards on the ground in the first half. The Panthers also had a 20-8 advantage in first downs for the game.
