Quick Take: Other Jets QBs sharp

What we learned ...

A new target for Brett Favre? Part of the knock on the Jets is the lack of depth at receiver. David Clowney had four receptions for 163 yards and two touchdowns for the Jets. Clowney scored on touchdown passes of 71 and 70 yards.

Brett Ratliff pushes for roster spot. Favre will be the starter in New York, followed by Kellen Clemens. Ratliff made his case to be the club's No. 3 quarterback by throwing for 252 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Jets.

Derek Anderson still has it. Any fears of Anderson dropping off after his breakthrough performance in 2007 were quickly put to rest. Anderson completed 4-of-5 passes and capped his only drive of the game with a 2-yard touchdown pass to Braylon Edwards.

Brady Quinn keeps the pressure on. Quinn, a first-round pick in 2007, kept the pressure on Anderson with a solid performance. Quinn completed 13-of-17 passes for 133 yards.
